Lost & Found Pets
FREE SERVICE - Have you lost or found a pet?
Email us with the details of the pets name, where, when, what happened and we will post it here for up to two months. A photo is allowed but send only 150x150 .jpg in the body of your email, no attachments please. Lost or found pet information can be sent to: Editor@PetGazette.org.

Contact your local animal shelter first. Lost pets usually end up in an animal shelter.

Whenever your pet is lost, this is one of your first places of help to report your missing friend. This 24-hour service will help you to locate your pet. Members pay $25.00 for the lifetime of the pet or $55.00 to find the pet for free and non-members pay $50 and above.

Microchip your Pet
No one ever plans to lose a pet, but there are a few precautions you can take to ensure their safe return. If your pet has been micro chipped in the event that it is found, veterinarians and animal rescue agencies can scan it for the identification number.

Animal Microchip Clinic The first Sunday of every month Friends of Placer County Animal Shelter sponsors a microchip clinic at The Cat House - 11556 D Avenue, Auburn, from Noon - 3 PM. $25 fee includes implant and lifetime registration. Proceeds benefit animals at the Placer County Animal Services.
